Shipping policy
Your order ships from California, United States.
Orders Shipped Within The United States:
Orders shipped within the United States are sent via US Priority Mail and First Class Mail.
We try to ship your order as soon as possible, but it can take up to 2 weeks from when you place your order and should arrive after shipment in an additional 5 - 10 days. We will email you with a tracking number at the time we ship.
Sales and Use Tax within the US:
With the exception of orders shipped to California, we are not required to collect sales and use tax for the other States, so no sales tax will be collected on your order.
Orders Shipped Outside of The United States:
Since our ETSY Shop has the ability to handle VAT at checkout, please check out our ETSY Shop if you are shipping outside of the US.
We ship your order up to 2 weeks after we receive it. Once your order ships it usually takes 3 weeks in transit and to clear customs. In some cases it can take 6 weeks to clear customs.
Duty, Fees, Tax:
We want all our international customers to be fully aware of the possibility of customs/duty charges on their end. These charges are implemented by the recipient’s government and are completely out of our control. The recipient alone is responsible for the payment of any duty, tax, or fees, as we have no way to remit them to the taxing authority.
We make every effort to make our customers aware of this fact but have found that occasionally some are taken by surprise when their order arrives.
Sending as a gift to another address that requires Duty, Fees, or Taxes:
If your order's shipping address is to a jurisdiction that levies payments, keep in mind that your Recipient will be surprised when he/she has to pay to receive your gift.
Avoiding Payments:
We won't under-value merchandise or mark the item as a gift on customs
forms to avoid Duty, Fees, or Taxes. Doing that is against U.S. and international laws.
Cancellations Before Order Ships:
If paying this additional amount at the time you receive your order is unacceptable to you, please contact us as soon as possible so that we may cancel your order before it ships.
Some Tips to Streamline Delivery:
It pays to be proactive in tracking your order. Often the local Postal Service holds deliveries for payment without ever notifying the recipient.
This causes delays and frustration for our customers.
We suggest that you keep an eye on the progress of the package through the tracking system and inquire at your local Post/Customs office about the time you anticipate delivery.
We provide you with the tracking number when we ship your order. Have this number with you when you inquire.
A Note about Tracking:
We provide you with a link to the USPS tracking system with your tracking number. Quite often the tracking shows you every event in the packages journey. If you have place your international order via our ETSY Shop, Please track through ETSY's Tracking for more complete tracking.
Unfortunately this is not consistent. Many times the tracking stops once the package leaves the United States.
Your own Country's Tracking System:
Please try using the tracking number in your country's own postal service website, as this can show more details.
Very few Problems:
Remember that most of our customers receive their packages without any problems. We just want you to be apprised of all the facts.
